A selection of vintage photographs from the collection of John L. Silva and his partner Jonathan Best, this book highlights Philippine photos of male affection from the first half of the 20th century. Inspired by an earlier book entitled ‘Dear Friends, American Photographs of Men Together, 1840-1918’ by David Deitcher, this collection documents the bonds between Filipino men, whether as friends, brothers, companions, or lovers.
