Art After War (1948-1969)

The first in a series of books called 'The Philippine Artscape', which aims to map the history of Philippine art from the 20th century onwards, this volume covers the period after World War II until the 1960s. It includes works of over 50 Filipino artists who produced significant works during that period, from Vicente Manansala to Lee Aguinaldo. Authored by Patrick Flores, it discusses key developments from the formation of the Art Association of the Philippines (AAP), the conception of the Thirteen Moderns, and the prominence of the Philippine Art Gallery (PAG) in Manila.
