Bantugang Sugbuanon: The Art and Artists of Cebu

The book is dedicated to Cebu's artists and addresses how Euro-American and Manila-centric perspectives have traditionally shaped Philippine art history. For the complete dedication and introductory text, please refer to the referenced document. Bantugang Sugbuanon: The Art & Artists of Cebu counters this by exploring Cebuano artists' cultural and social realities, bringing regional art into the national discourse.
