Jeepney

The Jeepney is now a Filipino way of life; bought over by American GI's as a temporary solution to Manila's post-war transportation problem, it has become a way of life on the roads, but almost unrecognizable from the original. This book traces it's history and many uses over the years; with colorful photographs of the many incarnations it has had. Remodeled, decorated, ornamented and painted in a myriad of styles and colors, it became a way of life for many of it's owners. Bright, colorful and unique.
