An accompanying catalog of the exhibition Juxta: Position: The Aesthetics of Reduction, it brings together Philippine 20th century abstract art and traditional Ifugao art. It is not about searching for traces of Cordillera art in abstraction. It is about presenting the aesthetic vocabulary, using the same principles, in different times, from a quite different cultural background.
