Living in the Philippines 1988 Edition

"LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES" was first published by The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines in 1980. It was well received and served its principal purpose as a primary and readable source of information for foreign businessmen and their families taking up residence in the Philippines for the first time.

However, during the last eight years there have been a number of changes in the Philippines indicating that an updated new edition of this useful publication was not only in order, but necessary.

Though this new edition of "LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES" is new, and different than the original insofar as more complete coverage and updated information and pictures are concerned, it follows the same format and, more importantly, endeavors to again serve the same purpose; to provide answers to most of the questions which come to mind when considering an assignment to the Philippines, and later, after arrival, in the process of getting established in a new environment.
