Music in Zarzuelas of Severino Reyes ("Lola Basyang")

Severino Reyes (popularly known by his pen name Lola Basyang, wrote librettos for 20 Tagalog zarzuelas, collaborating with prominent Filipino composers like Fulgencio Tolentino and Antonio Molina. Only 11 of these musical scores survive today, offering a vital look into early 20th-century Philippine musical theater and nationalist expression.
