Romeo Tabuena, versatile and prolific painter from the Philippines, brings to his art the passion and single-mindedness of the dedicated artist. Temperamentally much too subiective and emotional to be satisfied with purely intellectual esthetics, he nonetheless, moves toward abstraction. His development however, arises from inner compulsion of logical and consistent growth, not superficial whim.
